This blog is a place where I share notes on system design, architecture, and things I’m curious about.

I started programming at 15 in Venezuela, writing my first programs and later studying computer science. I moved to Canada and continued working in technology progressing from systems support and administration to development, implementation, and architecture. These days, I work in architecture, where I spend much of my time thinking about system integrations, workflow automation, and how all these pieces fit together across complex enterprise environments.

You can find me on LinkedIn for work-related things, on X for more casual thoughts, and on Instagram, where I share my photography.

If you’d like to say hello, you can reach me at jesusemelendezm@gmail.com.

Aside from working in tech, I’m a husband and a father of two. I enjoy cities, photography, books, jazz, and watches.
